Oil Pump: Installation

  1. Lubricate and install the new O-ring seals.
    GJ0012881
  2. Torque:

    M8 25 Nm

    M6 12 Nm

  3. Lubricate and install a new O-ring seal.

  4. Torque: 12 Nm
    GJ0012884
  5. Torque: 21 Nm

    6. NOTE: Tsubaki timing drive only.
  6. Install the lower timing chain making sure the coloured chain links align correctly with the fuel rail high-pressure fuel pumps camshaft and crankshaft sprocket markings.

    7. CAUTION: Make sure that the tensioner spring is correctly located.
    NOTE: Tsubaki timing drive only.
  7. Torque: 21 Nm

    8. NOTE: INA timing drive only.
  8. Install the lower timing chain making sure the coloured chain links align correctly with the fuel rail high-pressure fuel pumps camshaft and crankshaft sprocket markings.

  9. Torque: 21 Nm

  10. Refer to: OIL PAN EXTENSION .
  11. Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to SPECIFICATIONS information.
