Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
    WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.
  1. Raise and support the vehicle.
  2. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to Specifications .
  3. Refer to Engine Cover - 5.0L .
  4. Cooling System Draining, Filling and Bleeding. Refer to Cooling System Draining, Filling And Bleeding .
    5. NOTE: Some variation in the illustrations may occur, but the essential information is always correct.
