Concern:
Customer may report one or more of the following concerns:-
- "Smart key not found" message displayed in the instrument cluster
- Unable to enter the vehicle passively (Smart key not detected)
- The smart key is locked in the luggage compartment
CONTENT
Cause:
Devices containing 'backlit' LCD screens e.g. smart phones, laptops (laptop cases), games consoles or metal objects e.g. golf clubs / bags, briefcases etc can adversely affect the smart key performance.
Action:
The customer should ensure the Smart Key is clear of such devices or metal objects when attempting Keyless entry/exit or Keyless starting.
