NOTE: This issue is only applicable to Discovery 4, 12MY onwards and Freelander 2, 13MY onwards fitted with the 7 inch screen.

ISSUE

When returning a screen the securing brackets are not being removed.

Content

CAUSE

The brackets on the touch screen must be to be removed prior to shipping to the Jaguar Land Rover returns center.

NOTE: The touch screen brackets are a none serviceable part.

ACTION

The brackets on the touch screen need to be removed prior to dispatch to the Jaguar Land Rover returns centre to be reused on the new replacement unit which will be supplied without the brackets fitted.
