ISSUE

Content

Customers may report a crackle noise from the left hand speakers, only when listening to DAB as a source.

CAUSE

This is an internal issue with the DAB module.

ACTION

Confirm the issue by verifying it only appears on the left channel speakers when DAB is selected as the source.

If the issue is evident whilst listening to any other source i.e. AM/FM Radio, CD, DVD, TV, investigate these systems, as well as the amp (AAM) and speakers prior to replacing the DAB module.
