112000 Latches/Locks & Security

Discovery 4 / LR4, Range Rover Sport, Freelander 2 / LR2 10MY onwards & Range Rover Evoque customers may report a concern with the Bonnet latch & or Bonnet Locking & or Bonnet Switch upon their vehicle. This may show up as

Action 

Engineering are investigating this concern & would like additional information therefore should you have this issue reported to you can you please respond to the below questions via the EPQR system. The simplest way to do this is to cut / paste the below Questions into the EPQR with your responses

CONTENT

Is the Bonnet latched Y / N

If YES; 

Is the Harness Connector Fully engaged Into the switch? Y / N

Is the Switch securely attached to the Latch? Y / N

If not attached securely can the Switch be re-attached? Y / N

Is the Switch faulty Y / N

If NO; 

Is it R/HS or L/H/S which is unlatched? R/H / L/H

Is the Latch set / positioned correctly? Y/N

Is the Release cable fully functional? Y / N

Please provide any extra information as to what resolved the concern and additional information that may assist engineering.
