CONCERN

Range Rover Sport, Discovery 3/4, LR3/4 customers may initially report that their SRS warning lamp has become illuminated on the instrument pack of their vehicle. Upon Investigation Dealers may have found that the Warning lamp has been illuminated due to a possible concern with either of the front Seat Belt Pretensioners

Thorough examination of the returned parts has found that the majority of the parts had no fault found and thus the Seat Belt Pretensioners were changed unnecessary through Misdiagnosis.

With this in mind the SRS Seat Belt Pretensioner Diagnostics have now been updated within TOPix - Section 501-20B Supplementary Restraints System, Digagnosis & Testing.

This will aid the Dealer Technician in resolving any Seat Belt Pretensioner concern.
