CONDITION SUMMARY
Situation: The door mirror may 'judder' during powerfold (manual or automatic) operation and/or may be loose or vibrates.
Cause: This may be caused by a tolerance stack-up between the door mirror and the door and/or the retaining screws may be loose/under torqued.
Action: Should a customer express this concern, follow the appropriate Service Instruction [A or B] outlined below.

SERVICE INSTUCTION 'A' - 'Judder' Concern Only
LR3 (L319), LR4 (L319), Range Rover Sport (L320) vehicles only
NOTE:
Service Instruction 'A' to be performed for a 'judder' during powerfold operation concern only.
CAUTION:
make sure no damage is caused to the powerfold door mirror.
CAUTION:
do not apply any form of external lubrication, as this will have no effect to the internals of the mechanism and may cause damage.
- Manually move the powerfold door mirror forwards and backwards 20 times, then return the powerfold door mirror to the central position.NOTE: do not disconnect the powerfold door mirror - trim electrical connector.
- Release the powerfold door mirror - interior trim.CAUTION: take care not to damage the paint on the vehicle.NOTE: do not disconnect the powerfold door mirror electrical connector.
- Release the powerfold door mirror.
- Install the washers to the powerfold door mirror lower retaining bolts only.
- Install the powerfold door mirror.
- Check the operation of the powerfold door mirror.
- Install the powerfold door mirror - interior trim.
SERVICE INSTRUCTION 'B' - LOOSE/VIBRATION CONCERN ONLY
Vehicles with removable powerfold mirror covers.
NOTE:
Service Instruction B' to be performed for a loose/vibration concern only.
