AFFECTED VEHICLE RANGE

CONDITION SUMMARY

Situation:  There are a number of symptoms associated with seat belts, including being jammed, slow to retract, and failing to retract. These may be caused by various issues

Action:  In the event of a customer concern of any of the above, refer to the symptom driven diagnostics procedure outlined below

SYMPTOM DRIVEN SEAT BELT DIAGNOSTICS 

  1. Refer to Workshop Manual, section 501-20A: Safety Belt System  , and perform the appropriate diagnosis and testing.
