ISSUE
Content
When investigating a customer reported steering issue it is found that there is oil/fluid present around the steering gear input shaft.
CAUSE
Oil or Grease Leak past input shaft seal through normal use OR seal failure.
ACTION
If an input shaft seal is suspected of leaking please refer to the attached images to understand what level of grease/oil leakage is from normal operation of the steering system.
