Symptom 203000 Basic Electrical

ISSUE

Following a recent campaign a few customers have reported that the Transmission Control Switch unit(s) fails to rise or initially rises before lowering itself back to its default position for an ignition off state, which is confirmed by DTC P176B - 71 (Transmission Range Selector Up and Down Position Control Error)

Potential of a mixed stock condition

ACTION

Please submit an ePQR detailing the failure mode, together with the session files and a picture of the TCS/GSM label as which is located at the right hand side of the connector, as shown in attached picture.

Once details have been attached to ePQR, then please proceed to replace GSM unit
