CONCERN
Land Rover have received a small number of Customer complaints that the Rear Wiper Motor on Range Rover Sport 12 MY (Part No. LR029777) and Discovery 4 / LR4 12MY (LR029682) is slow to operate compared to previous Model year derivatives
CONCLUSION
The Rear Wiper Motors were changed to a different supplier at 12MY for Range Rover Sport and Discovery 4 / LR4, the operating speed was changed at this time, this does not affect the Wipers performance. The cycles per minute have changed from 40±5 Cycles Per Minute to 30±4 CPM with no detriment to performance This is not a vehicle defect and parts replacement is not required.
