ISSUE
SDD will not load with Windows 7 and is stuck with a white screen displaying http://localhost:8080 and the scroll bar pulsing.
CAUSE
Corrupted file within SDD
ACTION
Certain changes have been made to correct this issue on DVD130 Patch5.
However if you experience a similar issue please follow the instructions in this SSM to correct the problem.
Please submit an EPQR to provide JLR with visibility of how often this manual solution is required
If you experience this problem please follow the steps below.
- Log on to http://www.techservice.jlrext.com/vdirs/wds/FileTran/JLR/DSFM_JLR_PatchFiles.asp
- Search for the file 8080fix.zip, down load and save to your desktop of your SDD.
- Open the 8080fix.zip and double click on the file inside "RecursiveDeleteScript.vbs".
- You will then have a pop up click open you will then see another pop up click open again.
- After clicking open on the pop ups you will then see a pop up with "8080Fix SCRIPT COMPLETED" click OK.
- Open SDD from the menu screen and SDD should now open.
