Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS): Initialization

When the AFS control module receives an engine running signal, the control module performs the initialization procedure which ensures that the headlamps are correctly aligned on their horizontal axis.

The AFS swivel initialization is completed in less than 1 second. The LH and RH AFS motors flick the headlamps to calibrate the center position of the headlamps.
