Liftgate Latch: Removal

  1. Remove the tailgate trim panel. Refer to Tailgate Trim Panel .
  2. Remove the tailgate water shedder.
  3. Release the liftgate latch.
    • Remove the 3 Torx screws.

  4. Remove the liftgate latch.
    • Disconnect the electrical connector.
    • Release the liftgate latch to actuator cable.
