Liftgate Latch Actuator: Removal

  1. Remove the tailgate trim panel. Refer to Tailgate Trim Panel .
  2. Release the liftgate actuator.
    • Loosen the 2 bolts.
    • Disconnect the electrical connector.

  3. Remove the actuator cover.
    • Remove the 2 Torx screws.

  4. Remove the liftgate actuator.
    • Release the liftgate latch to actuator cable.
