Axle Carrier Bushing: Installation
- Using the special tools, install the axle carrier bushing.
- Install the axle carrier.
- Tighten the M14 bolt to 105 Nm (77 lb.ft).
- Tighten the new axle carrier bracket bolts to 80 Nm (59 lb.ft), then a further 60 degrees.
- Install the axle carrier bushing heat shield.
- Remove the axle support.
- Install the exhaust system. Refer to Exhaust System article.
CAUTION:
Make sure the bush is correctly aligned.
