Differential Locking Motor: Installation

  1. Clean the component mating faces.
  2. Install the new motor with new O ring seal.

  3. Install the 4 bolts 12 Nm.

  4. Clean the component mating faces and apply continuous bead of sealant to the motor mating face on the differential.

  5. Install the differential locking motor.
    • Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm.
    • Connect the electrical connector.

  6. Lower the vehicle.
  7. Calibrate the differential locking motor using the diagnostic tool.
