Windshield Washer Reservoir: Removal

  1. Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to Front Bumper Cover .
  2. Remove the windshield washer reservoir filler neck.
    • Release the windshield washer reservoir filler neck from the coolant expansion tank.
    • Remove and if necessary, discard the seal.

    3. NOTE: Some fluid spillage is inevitable during this operation.
  3. Disconnect the 2 hoses from the windshield washer reservoir pumps.
    • Drain the washer reservoir fluid.
    • Disconnect the 3 electrical connectors.

  4. Remove the windshield washer reservoir.
    • Remove the 4 bolts.

    5. NOTE: Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.
  5. Remove the windshield washer pump.
    • Remove and if necessary, discard the seal.
  6. Remove the headlamp washer pump.
    • Remove and if necessary, discard the seal.
