Rear Air Spring: Removal
NOTE:
Only the air spring being removed needs to be depressurized.
- Raise and support the vehicle.
- Remove the wheel and tire.
- Using T4, depressurize the air suspension. See Air Suspension System Depressurize and Pressurize .
- Disconnect the rear air spring from the lower arm.
- Remove the nut and bolt.
- Disconnect the air line.
- Using a trolley jack, support the rear air spring assembly.
- Remove 3 rear air spring retaining nuts.
- Remove the rear air spring.
- Remove the Voss connector from the air line.
- Remove the collet and the union.
WARNING:
Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands.
CAUTION:
Always plug any open connections to prevent contamination.
